Greenwashing
Activities by a company or an organisation that are intended to make people think that it is concerned about the environment, even if its real business actually harms the environment
Example usage from an FT article:
While the political mood in the UK and Europe remains supportive of sustainable investment, trust among the public is low and concerns over greenwashing are still high.
